I think the sentence is not that useful without an other sentence to add context (to explain what is this "coming out from nowhere" S), but looking to the Japanese sentence which use 西 , I think it's maybe Spanish ?

Could you please release this sentence? S-J means Spanish-Japanese.

In Japan there are a lot of translations from English to Japanese (E-J) and from Japanese to English (E-J), there isn't much real demand for J-S and S-J.

In Japan there are a lot of translations from English to Japanese and from Japanese to English, but there isn't much real demand for Japanese to Spanish or Spanish to Japanese.
