In technical terminology, 'update' would be used instead of 'what's new'. But the Japanese is ambiguous so it is hard to discern if the information is about an update or simply updated information. Also, where Japanese software uses '読み込む' the English version uses 'load'. Especially since this sentence is talking about JavaScript, a web technology, a web browser is often said to 'load' a page rather than 'read' it.
