Itsumi" halten?

In this case, I'd rather unadopt the sentence (which I didn't write) than change it. Indeed, "Mr" without the period is a British spelling. As for whether to use "the X region" or "X", that choice depends on the region in question: we say "Appalachia" rather than "the Appalachia region", for instance. I don't know how English speakers in Japan refer to that area.

In America, I would say "I'm from the Northwest" and not "the Northwest region", although "Kansai region" sounds valid.

Changed to "Mr."
