Google says Urdu...

it's Trang who is in charge of managing flags :)

Oops.
@Trang - any chance of an Urdu flag?

Actually Pharamp is in charge of making the icons ^^. I'll tell her we'll need Urdu, as well as Sanskrit and Quechua.
Not sure yet what to do with Tengwar. It's probably going to remain under the "unknown" category for a while.
But since there is only one sentence in each of these language, and not a lot of people to contribute, it's not very urgent to have a flag.

Any ideas for the Sanskrit flag?

How about whatever Sanskrit letter matches the start of 'tatoeba' ?

> How about whatever Sanskrit letter

Sanskrit hasn't got a single alphabet. Now Devanagari is a de facto standard, but in fact it can be written with any of a large number of Indic scripts. And Devanagari is also used to write Hindi.

I think Sanskrit + orange (color of buddhism) background would be too long and not fit 29px...
Demetrius, is there any syllable which is the most important or such? Which is the first one for exemple?

What about this one, for Sanskrit?

The first letter is from Devanāgarī and the second one is from Kannada, another alphabet used to write Sanskrit.

You did it? I think it's very good, just put a color background, show us and then send it to Trang at team@tatoeba.fr ;)

@Pharamp: yes, I did it. Which color?

I proposed orange as it's the color of the monks tunic, but any of these are good in my opinion.

Just consider that blue has been already used (Teochew, Yiddish) and yellow too (Shanghainese).

I used this color http://fr-fr.colourlovers.com/color/E35604/
(Buddha's teachings). Is it ok?

Of course. I will adjust it (they need light set to 70) and send it to Trang with the other flags! Thank you ^____^

I don't understand what you mean by "they need light set to 70" ; anyway, I let you do it.

The brightness (?) should be changed +70... x) I'm not able to explain it better in English >.<

Will you do it?

Yes, I've already done everything :)

Are there already sentences in Sanskrit?

Yep, just one http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentences/show/385820

Urdu added :)

Needs a question mark at the end of it...

Write us the whole sentence please :)

آپ کیسے ہیں؟

Still missing question mark.
