oops, could someone please connect this sentence with the German translations?

done

I think vivid is not bildhaft
vivid is lebendig or schnell.
Am I wrong?

Danke.

I understand it means that "he" speaks in an expressive (literally "picture-painting") way.

Ehm, not really... what I'm trying to say is that "he" uses many metaphors and that it is easy to imagine his explanations as he draws pictures with words. Hard to explain...

Make a suggestion please. I really do not know what would be the best way to translate the German sentence. Or delete the English sentence if the German sentence is untranslatable ;)

My suggestion: He speaks so vividly. I think it is quite common expression. Only, is it a good translation?
