A magyar nyelvben alapszabály, hogy a nem-latinbetűs nyelvek szavait fonetikusan írjuk át. Ezért Tokió és nem Tokyo, Hirosima és nem Hiroshima, Oszaka és nem Osaka, stb. A Fudzsira is ez a szabály vonatkozik. Más kérdés, hogy az utóbbi pár évtizedben egyre jobban terjed az angolos átírás a magyar nyelvben is, de ettől még a szabály nem változott, és remélhetőleg nem is fog - fölösleges nekünk angolosan írni azt, aminek van bevett magyar formája.

Tiam ankaŭ en Esperanto devus esti "Fuĝi" kaj ne Fuji!!!
En la hungara, sendepende de la angla lingvo, mi neniam
vidis skribite la nomon de Fuji, Fudzsi. Nun, mi tute ne
konsentas kun la komentarioj.
