I think this is wrong.

Also the English is a little strange, I think.

We wouldn't even say "the ambassador at the American embassy."
We usually say "the American ambassador".

I see. now that you've pointed it out, "ambassador... embassy" indeed seems less than optimal. word-for-word translations, hey.

since you have linked a better sentence, I'm unlinking this. I thought I'd be able to delete it, but I don't seem to. feel free to delete it or change it into something you think will be of use.
