Donde hubo fuego, cenizas quedan. [?]

Well, a more appropriate translation for the original sentence, n.º 25901 ”There is no fire without smoke.”, would probably be: “No hay fuego sin humo.”
Or,alternatively, “Donde hay humo, hay fuego.”
