Can the Chinese be interpreted both as referring to an apartment as well as to a building?
(two variants that differ on that)
It refers to a building but not an apartment.
"mieszkanie", if I'm not mistaken, means "apartment" (and so I translated it into the three Hebrew variants).
I am confused - I looked at English version and now I do not see it. Just Chinese, Israeli, and French. The number is also different 1361704 - the one I translated to Polish was much smaller. Can you tell me how to find it, because if the English version did not correspond to Chinese I must change the Polish version as well - but now I cannot even find it.
There are two possibilities:
1) Maybe you've added the translation to the wrong sentence, and it got unlinked? When you add a translation, it is added as a direct translation only to the one sentence (the one displayed at the top). Others become indirect translations.
2) Maybe it was a bug of some kind? These happen, you know. :o
Dear starzykj,
In case you make changes to any of your sentences, please make sure you leave a message to that extent under other sentences that were translated from them (as otherwise, other variants will not be valid anymore).
Fortunately, a colleague who read my Hebrew sentence told me that it differed from the original Polish variant.
How can I sent such a message to all who contributed in various languages?
You don't have to send any messages.
Simply look at the other variants that appear near your sentence (some of them are linked to your sentence, i.e., they are translation of your variant). Just leave a short comment at each such sentence, notifying the sentence owner that your variant has changed.
