I don't think that "pakala" can mean "Uh-uh." by itself.
Also, a period should be added to the end. That's just how people usually write Toki Pona sentences here.

Sorry, i thought it said uh-oh (or maybe I thought that they meant to write uh-oh, i don’t remember). I’ve never before seen “uh-uh” in my whole dang life as an anglophone. Is that a valid phrase?
