Ĉu vi intencis la pasivon "komencita" aŭ simple "komencinta"?

@Dejo: Does Esperanto have ergative verbs? For example, in English we can say "They started the war" and "The war started", and the subject of the verb in the second sentence is the direct object of the first. If Esperanto works like this too, then this possible error might make sense.

Zifre: "komencita" is not actually an error. It just means "the war was being started". In Esperanto we prefer the most simple form, so we often avoid the passive. We can also use "oni" Oni komencis la militon, like the French "on" or the German "man" where English uses "they" since "one" seems quite literary these days.

Mi intence skribis "estis komencita". La germana "Der Krieg brach aus", la angla "The war broke out" sugestas, ke milito estas kvazaŭ naturforto kiel vulkano, kiu povas eksplodi.

To Zifre:
"komenci" in Esperanto is a transitive verb exclusively.
