This sentence was originally added by the user shekitten, but then she gave up ownership, presumably because she wasn't sure whether she got the translation right.

So if you think this sentence is wrong, feel free to adopt it and change it to your version. That said, the Wiktionary entry for أي https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D8%A3%D9%8A#Arabic says that it can be used for either masculine or feminine, so I guess both variants might be right.

I think the Wiktionary page might also answer your question about nunation.
