Removed spaces.

I don't know why uni killed フォロー. The Japanese was a direct copy from a native source. In fact, as uni doesn't seem to have logged in since then I'm going to revert it.

Adding replacement "何が何でも" example.

@qahwa

As the エベント spelling is sometimes used (as shown in the dictionaries 新和英大辞典 and スーパー大辞林) I'd like to keep at least one example for it.

qahwa qahwa September 17, 2010 September 17, 2010 at 3:36:28 AM UTC link Permalink

Please do as you like, blay_paul.
But I've never seen or heard "エベント" during half a century in Tokyo Japan.

もしかしたら、「main event」のことを「メーンエベント」などと書く人はいるかもしれませんが、「event」だけの時に「エベント」と書くとは信じられません(@_@;)

広辞苑 has エベント too, but all of them just reference イベント, which is far more common by a factor of about 10,000:1.

Since they are both in the one JMdict entry, I'm not fussed if the sentence in question is changed to イベント.

If Jim's OK with it I'll change it back.
