@TatoebaAdmins hate speech

Can we tag such sentences without deleting/redflagging them... It may be bigotry but it's a valid sentence certain people may very well realistically say.

@Ooneykcall this kind of sentences are a breeding ground for war. I think we should try not to banalize them on Tatoeba.

But what do you think about those? You selecting what's correct and what's not, but...

You defending a man but you kill another in the same time! Funny you.

My sentence is true! Kabylian people are killed a'nd emprisonné D every day by Algerian regime... Read much.

I certainly do not think Tatoeba should reject any linguistically valid input, no matter what it says. You can expect people to make their own decisions and be responsible for their emotions. Otherwise, this opens all kinds of slippery slope arguments and related problems. And yes, in fact the corpus contains thousands of sentences (some)one might consider hateful. It seems prudent to not have to deal with this by not enacting censorship, except I guess in extreme cases where you might fear legal action or something. This ideological conflict has been going on for years on Tatoeba (reflecting some real world strife, I understand), best not to intefere o_O Let people write to their heart's content; their input still enriches the corpus.

Maybe we just forgot that we are writing sentences to a project what is built around example sentences. I, too, share more own beliefs and ideas, also news informations than it would be the right amount here. What about changing back and write some sentences what are considered useful for learners? Nowadays there are more discussion on political views, beliefs, news mentioned in sentences than discussion about correcting a sentence.
