What is the difference with the next Japanese sentence? English and German don't match...
German says "Physics is an essential science of nature"

> What is the difference with the next Japanese sentence?
No difference, really.
It should be 'fundamental' rather than 'essential' going by the Japanese.

Yes, but what about "nature" ? "Physics is...physical science" is a tautology...

Well it should be 'the' rather than 'an'.
