どっちも可能！同僚で、近場の旅行のお土産だったら、食べ物が多いかな。
友達で海外旅行などだと、食べ物は傷みやすいから、ちょっとした置物や化粧品などが多いよ。※個人的な意見です:)

・souvenir　＝　自分へのおみやげ
・gift、present　＝　他人へのおみやげ

"お土産"＝"知り合いに渡す旅行の記念品や食べ物"="souvenir"
