"curárseme" me suena demasiado extraño, ¿por qué no simplemente "curarse"?

Creo que es la forma más adecuada de referirse a "mi resfriado" y no el de otra persona.

Por otro lado yo sí lo veo como una expresión frecuente, al menos en España...
