Acho melhor usar o símbolo de grau °, em vez de º. Os teclados de hoje já têm esse símbolo (Alt Gr + /).

Corrigido. Só uma curiosidade: tem alguma regra de uso para esses dois símbolos? Tipo, um para grau e outro para ordinais?

Os nomes deles na tabela Unicode indicam que um é para ordinal e o outro para graus. Além disso, usando o de ordinais, ele corre o risco de aparecer com um traço embaixo, dependendo da fonte.
