因为上海人经常说“阿拉是模子。”，既然不存在真正意义上的旗子，也就决定采用“模子”这个最能代表上海人思想的词来作象征。

I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt, but you don't have a very good track record to work with. The fact that the English and Azeri all match phrases from a very small list on Wikipedia is just too suspicious.

Of course they could have come from a different site, like Phrasebase
