Don't you think that "ni quora" or even "quoranye" would be better?
I got the sentences from books and internet pages that had a compatible license, so don't ask me. <.< I'm not an expert, and I've stopped my Quenya studies for now.
That's a pity.
Haven't you thought about adding Quenya as a language here?
Yeah, that's why I added the sentences -- I've already asked Trang, the site admin, to add Quenya, but she seems to be inactive right now, so...
Quenya is here http://tatoeba.org/epo/tags/sho...th_tag/Quenya, but has no flag. Is a flag more important than sentences?
No, of course not. But it'd be much easier.
It will come in due time, like cherry on top...
Aiya!
My name is Erunno Alcarinollo and I was invited here by my Latvian friend, Oroniel!
What this site is about, is exactly what I've been doing at mine with Quenya! I loved it!
I'd like to extend a help here for this particular sentence. Ni quorya is definitely wrong! It's like saying in English: Me is drewning! (Yes, the pronoun is wrongly used as well as the orthography of the verb)
The correct verb is quoro or quorë (as verbs ending in -o are extremely rare in Quenya, quorë is preferred)which means: to choke, to suffocate, to drown
Personal pronouns work like suffixes in Quenya. They are added to the verb.
So...Quorëan = I'm drowning
quorë+(a)+[n] = vb. to drown+(present tense particle)+[pronominal suffix "I"]
You can check much more about it at my site: Quenya101.com
Also, if a flag for Quenya is an issue, here I have one: http://quenya101.files.wordpres...inor-flag1.png
It holds the Two Trees in the middle, emanating light to all directions. Yellow and blue to stand for the day and night which ultimately sprung from them.
Alrighty, fixed.
