The translated Spanish sentence has ‘Pekín’, which is Beijing, i.e. the capital of China.

I'd suggest we wait for Marcelo to correct it. To let an obvious misspelling pass because it can be interpreted in a way that would make it correct seems hypercorrect to me. ☺
