Tio ne gravas. Estas komprenebla el konteksto.
О чём (чем) это? - Pri kio estas?
О, чем это? - Ho, per kio tio (ekz. la vundo farita)?

Tiu diferenco gravas foje por burokratoj en la oficiaj dokumentoj kaj en porinfanaj libroj: Ekz. familia nomo estis skribita en diversaj dokumentoj de unu virino malsame (7 tekstis Королева (laŭvorte ''reĝino'') kaj 7 - Королёва (de la reĝo)). Mi pensas ke estas kutime tie en Tatoeba respekti literon ''ё''

Jes, certe, mi subtenas tion, kiel vi, @Alex.
La kialo por mia demando estis mia necerteco, ĉu Google trovos tiujn frazojn eĉ se ili entenos чем anstataŭ чём. Mi kredas, ke mi konstatis hodiaŭ, ke Google trovas ilin ambaŭ se vi uzas nur unu el ili en la serĉado. Do, fino bona, ĉio bona :)
