Note that English sentence #39793 has been changed from "The tuberculin reaction was positive" to "The tuberculin test came back positive", which makes more sense.
@JimBreen
As @AlanF_US commented, the English has been changed. I think it would be better to change from "ツベルクリン反応" to "ツベルクリン反応検査" to match it. What do you think?
I can see both ツベルクリン反応 and ツベルクリン検査 on the Web, even though ツベルクリン反応検査 seems to be a proper word.
I don't see why the English was changed. I think it was fine as it was. I suggest leaving the Japanese as it is. I may put the original English version back as a "new" translation.
I changed the English to "The result of the tuberculin test was positive." I explained my reasoning in my comments on the related sentence #39795.
Thanks.
Both ツベルクリン反応 and ツベルクリン反応検査 are used, but according to the Google n-grams the former is about 4 times more common.
Then I'll leave the Japanese as it is. :)
Thanks.
