Do people use "take in" to mean "receive" or "subscribe to" with regard to newspapers?

I think the romanization should be Shinbun.

Maybe that's so, tadaa25. But when I type "Shinbun" into Google search, the results are all for "Shimbun." Also the Wikipedia shows it thus.

"Shimbun" certainly seems to be more frequently used, I think.
