Hit the ball on the rise. This seems to refer to tennis.

I think the English on its own is fine, but it doesn't match the Japanese or the other English sentence. The Japanese and other English both specify "after the bounce". Unsure about the German and Spanish. Should this be unlinked?

The German and Spanish are fine. I'll unlink this from the Japanese.

Note that "hit the ball on the rise" is more specific than "hit the ball after the bounce". It means "hit the ball after the bounce, but before it begins to fall".
