Sorry I don't know why the formatting is weird for the brackets, it looks fine before I press submit! Is it because it's right to left?

I think it's due to "famous" bidirectionnal text problem
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bi-directional_text

i copy paste the text in a text editor , and it diplays correctly, but copy pasting it here, display it in a weirdd way

I will try to find out if there's some way to correct it, as it something which very likely to happen often in Tatoeba, I will give you news about my research on the wall

Thanks, yeah that would be helpful! It's happened to me before but I never knew what to do about it, aside from avoiding punctuation :)

ياباني sounds a bit colloquial...

how about
اليابانية
or
اللغة اليابانية

2 weeks! (almost :P)

@moderator(s) can I get an edit for this sentence?

Demetrius Demetrius June 18, 2010 June 18, 2010 at 5:58:21 PM UTC link Permalink

Why not add a “colloquial” tag and add your sentences as alternative?

saeb saeb June 18, 2010 June 18, 2010 at 6:01:23 PM UTC link Permalink

...because it's 'standard arabic' and not 'egyptian arabic' or some weird hybrid like in this sentence...
