What has happened to the pinyin?.. It seems to be incorrect.

Wha, you’ve stopped using ADSO?

sysko sysko December 16, 2010 December 16, 2010 at 3:32:33 PM UTC link Permalink

In what language? Can it be used standalone? How can I download it? What does it depends on? (I hope it doesn’t need TatoDB installed… :))

I’m interested! I’m learning Chinese and I’d like to play with it! :)

it is in C/C++, for the moment it's a standalone server which reply to http request using xml for the answer

for example
127.0.0.1:4242/pinyin?str=你好
will reply
<root>
<pinyin>ni3 hao3</pinyin>
</root>
but I can easily create a "command line" version (as it can be easily include in other project toug I haven't create a library of it)
it's not dependant on tatodb but on the libtato (which can also be downloaded) but I think I can remove this dependency)
it needs
libexpat (for parsing the xml dictionnary) and libglibmm(to manage unicode string in c++= and libevent (for the http server)
if you come on irc we can discuss about it and I will give you all the links^^
