"Schenkst du diese Rose [her, jemandem]?" und "Verschenkst du diese Rose" haben ziemlich dieselbe Bedeutung, in beiden Fällen wäre der Gefragte in Analogie zum englischen Satz der Geber.

"Be- oder verschenkst du diese Rose?" trifft es leider auch nicht so ganz.
Ich würde sagen: "Schenkst du diese Rose her oder bekommst du sie geschenkt?"
("hast du sie geschenkt bekommen" wäre wahrscheinlicher, aber man kann sicher auch eine Situation finden, wo weder das eine noch das andere schon stattgefunden hat)
