Mi kredas, ke ambaŭ taŭgus, ĉu ne?
Certe "mortintaj" estas ĝusta.
Tamen, serĉu "mortaj" en la reto – ŝajnas, ke ankaŭ tio povas taŭgi, ĉu ne?

Nu, „mortaj” ja ekzistas, sed havas alian signifon, ĉu ne? „morta klavo” neniam vivis, „morta silento” neniam vivis. Tamen mi kun miro vidas, ke Z parolis pri „mortaj lingvoj”. Nu jes, ankaŭ tio estas iasence figura.

Mi iom plu esploris, kaj ŝajne tiu zamenhofa esprimo estas ofte kritikata. Jen akademia Sergio Poktrovksi:

„"morta" signifas "mortel, mortal, tödlich/Todes/todbringend,
смертельный; "mortaj lingvoj" povus esti lingvoj morte danĝeraj aŭ
kondukantaj al morto (kiel "morta salto", "morta peko", "morta
malsano"); aŭ kiu okazas ĉe la morto (kiel "morta vundo", "morta kanto
de cigno" ktp).”
