Ja, erschien mir üblicher so. Steht es nicht immer ungefähr so auf der Innenseite von Zugtüren? (Bin ewig nicht mehr in deutschsprachigen Ländern Zug gefahren ...)

Ja, in den S-Bahnen des VVS heißt es genauso.
Allerdings ist die französische Übersetzung entsprechend knapp gehalten:
"Ne pas ouvrir avant l'arrêt du train."
Also entsprechen sich die Kontexte, in denen man die Sätze verwenden würde, wohl nicht.
