Ik dacht dat "terug" in die betekenis vooral in Vlaanderen voorkomt. Maar van Vlaamse invloeden kan men jou waarschijnlijk niet verdenken!

"Terug" duidt in de standaardtaal op een beweging: Hij ging terug om zijn zakdoek te halen.

P.S. Nu pas denk ik dat de zin toch juist kan zijn in de betekenis "Ik ben blij dat je terug bent". Engels: I'm glad to see you back. Maar dan moeten sommige links worden aangepast.
