"Are" -> "They are"
"These shirts are equals" is a slightly strange sentiment in English, but I don't know how to make it sound more natural.
I'd say "These shirts are the same" (although the meaning may not be exactly equivalent).
I'd go with "are the same" too.
"equals" as a noun only refers to people.
