Cebuano but translations are off. "Nahibulong ko" is "I wonder" in English.
most often we use that construction if one is curious about a certain occurence, unless one has the intention of finding out something. If that will be the case then one can say, "Gusto nakong mahibaluan/masayran." One must understand that Cebuano has several variants even in Mindanao, and each has it's own unique way of constructing sentences. Sinugbuhang binisaya is considered the standard by those from Cebu. An example of lexical uniqueness is the word 'langoy'. Camiguin cebuano is can mean taking a bath (in the bathroom) but for the rest of the Cebuano variants it means to swim. We do have a 3 vowel system such that e and i, o and u occur in free variation. Thank you.
