Is it an exact translation of the English sentence?

Since the Hungarian sentence doesn't correspond to the others and the French word "demander" means "ask", ...

Mi malligis la anglan frazon. La ĉina frazo konformas.

@maaster: I think so, because

may (is permitted) = dürfen (ist erlaubt) = esti permesata
ask = fragen / eine Frage stellen = demandi

Where did you see any problem? 😉

Im englischen Satz hieß es „sagen“, nicht „fragen“. Jetzt dürfte alles passen.

Der Satz war eine Übersetzung eines englischen Satzes.
Der deutsche Satz wurde abgetrennt, wie es man an der Seite sehen kann.

Der englische Satz, von dem Dein Satz abgetrennt wurde, ist #25108.

I don't see the problem any more, :) nonetheless, I can't read kanjis.

Ach so, ich dachte, es ging um den Satz "May I ask ..." (grauer ➡).
Dann ist es ja ok. Danke!
