This sentence can also be translated "I am your hip". According to jan Pije's lessons, using poka as a preposition is a mistake (see: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/U...r_prepositions )
On the other hand, toki pona is a rather ambiguous language and the meaning of the sentence is pretty clear, so I don't think there's a mistake here.
I think we can translate "I'm with you" in many ways: I support you / My opinion is the same as yours...
So the sentence in Toki Pona can have many "variants". [?]
