En PIV, la lasta ekzemplo de la n°1 en la difino de rimedo, tiu vorto estas uzata kun infinitivo sen "por"

PMEG diras: "Se I-verbo estas rekta priskribo de O-vorto aŭ O-vorteca vorteto,
kaj se laŭsence ĝi esprimas celatan agon,
oni normale devas uzi por antaŭ la I-verbo"
kaj poste aldonas, ke post "kelkaj oftaj abstraktaj substantivoj oni trovas
jen I-verbon sen por, jen I-verbon kun por".
PMEG listigas ekzemplojn kun "tempo", "eblo" kaj "maniero"
kaj mencias ankaŭ "kaŭzo", "kuraĝo", "okazo" kaj "rimedo": "rimedo (por) solvi problemon".

Eblas konkludi, ke la uzo de la esprimoj kun "por" estas rigardata kiel normala, do rekomendata uzo.
