I don't really think it's a good idea. In fact, some people would greet you with this word. In Arabic, we say "assalam alaykum" and sometimes, we also say "salam" which simply means "peace." Some hippy people used to use this word a lot, too. It's like an expression, a greeting.
"See you next time. Peace" or "See you next week. Peace and lots of love."
