"I mean this money"?

Nothing wrong with that. Maybe a bit old fashioned(?) but perfectly normal English.

If you say so. I've never heard "mean" used this way before, personally.

It does seem to be rarer than I thought, but I found one or two examples.

"Did God really mean this money for us?"

その金を中国旅行に充てたい（＝取っておきたい）
I want to put [set] the money aside for my trip to China./（遣いたい）I want to use [(ややまれ)（つもりである）I mean] this money for my trip to China.

I only know of "I mean for [subject] to be used for [something]"...

But if it exists, it exists.

Although, Googling "I mean this money" only gives one result (well, two) with this structure. E.g.:

A bunch of other Japanese-English sites seem to have taken this exact example as well (from the Tanaka corpus, no doubt)... Then there's the China example (which is also from a Japanese-English site).

I'm very dubious, but again, if it sounds okay to you, then I can't argue.

I hope all of these match the sense used in this sentence ^^'
