why do you consider this as a "parting" expression?
Sure it is often used at the end of the day to send someone off after they were commited with some labor. But even then, the intended meaning is "good work"

こういうのは訳そうとする方が無理がある気もしますね。

とりあえず相手の働きぶりをどうこう言っているわけではなくて、相手がその日何をしたかを知らなくても、「お疲れ様でした」と言って別れることはあります。
でも tomorrow がついたのとリンクするのはちょっとやりすぎではないでしょうか。

一方で、例えば知り合いが出ている演奏会に行って、終演後に「お疲れ様でした」と声をかけるという場合もあると思います。こういうとき英語ではどう言いますか?

「お疲れ様でした」とか「よろしくお願いします」とかをどう「訳す」かをあんまり熱心に議論する気にはなれませんが、See you. ぐらいをリンクしておくのはいかがですか?
