Non, on dit bien « une espace » quand il s'agit de l'espace typographique :

Ce n'était pas ma question, mais merci de m'avoir appris que espace était féminin dans cette situation.

Je trouve ça beaucoup plus laid de mettre une/un espace devant le point-virgule.

Moi aussi, mais il faut respecter les règles de typographie françaises qui diffèrent de toutes les autres languages en ce qui concerne l'espace avant :;!?

Je n'aime pas l'espace moi non plus mais je trouve encore pire quand les espaces sont utilisés de manière inconsistante.
