Nach meinen Wörterbuch ist "ausgereist" auch richtig.

Da steht "endgültig". Das heißt, dass "to emigrate" eine akzeptable Übersetzung für "ausreisen" ist, wenn der Kontext klar macht, dass die Ausreise endgültig ist. Da im obigen Satz aber kein solcher Kontext vorhanden ist, kann man es nicht so übersetzen.

Aber ich sehe gerade, dass der deutsche Satz älter ist als der englische, also hätte ich das eigentlich beim englischen Satz anmerken müssen.
