brauchinet: Thank you for your comment. What I have given is not a translation. It is a proverb equivalent to the proverbs given there. I am not familiar with Japanese, I was able to find the exact proverb thanks to the French equivalent 'Les petits ruisseaux font les grandes rivières.` Based on google translate I guess the Japanese proverb says a similar thing. I should however confess that I did a google translate the Japanese after your comment. I thought for the proverb this procedure is fine since the proverbs are not exact translations of each others. Please tell me if there is another protocol here. I am a new user.
