Je voudrais vous soumettre un problème ici:

en français, "fais de ton mieux" veut dire par exemple, "travaille du mieux possible" dans la vie en général.
En revanche, "fais au mieux" veut dire qu'il y a plusieurs possibilités pour faire quelque chose et que l'interlocuteur hésite entre les contraintes. Ça veut donc dire en fait "Choisis la meilleure possibilité".
Comment rendriez-vous cette nuance en espéranto ?

Je pense, que pour "fais au mieux" je dirais: "Faru, kion vi opinias la plej bona."
Complétée des mots sousentendus la phrase serait: faru [tion], kion vi opinias [esti] la plej bona [aĵo].
Ou "Faru [tion], kio ŝajnas al vi plej bona"
Si l'on veut surtout exprimer la manière suivant laquelle on fait quelque chose, on pourrait dire "Faru [tiel], kiel ŝajnas al vi plej bone."
En somme il y a le choix entre tous les corrélatifs: tio, kio; tiel, kiel; tiom, kiom, tia, kia; ... Mais il n'est pas toujours clair, ce que l'on veut dire exactement dans une langue nationale (y compris la mienne! :)
Je vois parfois comme traduction "Faru vian plej bonan." Evidemment il y a là un substantif souscompris. Mais je ne sais pas lequel et pour cette raison je n'aime pas tellement cette expression. Aussi en néerlandais on dit souvent "Doe je best", et encore là il manque quelque chose, mais quoi exactement?
Je ne sais pas, si j'ai par là donné une réponse à votre problème.
