This can literally be translated into English, but isn't likely the kind of question that would normally be asked in English. It does sound quite natural in Japanese though and it the kind of thing that Japanese ask.

I like the idea, though it's the speaker who's going to have breakfast, and s/he apparently doesn't have the right to choose.
