What do you mean? Should I delete the tag?
I would appreciate it if you kept this sentence. I know it is long, and it could be divided in several sentences but I find it very useful to Portuguese language learners.
Would the translation of the Portuguese example change if it were split into 6 separate sentences?
Well this is native European Portuguese grammar.
Most foreigners still think we use the second person plural
"vós" which is not quite true.
We use "vocês" and that changes their perspective a lot.
It's so hard to have them remember this that I would rather
keep everything in the same place.
That's just the "You like yourselves." part, isn't it? The problem with the example right now is that it sounds like someone rattling off a table in a grammar textbook. While Tatoeba can be made to serve that function (or that of a dictionary), what it is uniquely good for is, in my opinion, illustrating how words combine to form sentences and longer utterances that a native speaker would actually use e.g. in conversation.
If you want to illustrate how to use "vocês" correctly, adding more sentences with that word is the right strategy, but they should be a bit more interesting. E.g. to illustrate the difference between "you" (singular) and "you" (plural) you could write a short dialogue like "You are so egocentric! You just like yourself." "Well, you like yourselves as well, don't you?"
