c'est ambigu. mais je pense que ça l'est encore davantage en français qu'en anglais.

Comme le Monsieur Jourdain de Molière, qui faisait de la prose sans le savoir, on peut traduire des ambiguïtés sans s'en apercevoir.
Il y a même des crétins qui font des traductions littérales de faux dictons paysans.
