I'd appreciate it if contributors translated those sentences into their languages.

Today my special thanks goes to @odexed, one of the most active members of this website, an indefatigable translator of my sentences, an online friend from Russia who also, much to my pleasure, happens to know and master Arabic even much better than many educated people in the Arab world itself. I not only admire his translations, but I also reply to his questions with much pleasure. Sometimes, the issues he asks about are so advanced that even I have trouble giving him a quick answer, and for your knowledge, odexed, I often consult with my professional co-workers to give you a short and clear answer about some of the issues you ask me about. All of this makes the content of this website even richer and promotes excellent relations between the speakers of various languages. It's also needless to say that all of this is the absolute opposite of the kind of despicable individualism and the disgustingly haughty attitude promoted by other people. So thank you very much for your work, odexed, and I wish all the best to you. This message is addressed to you with much love and respect and I would like to make it public because I also like this website. شكرا من صميم قلبي يا حبيبي.

I'd appreciate it if you translated these few sentences into your languages. I'd also like to express my gratitude to all the contributors who regularly translate my sentences.

Today my special thanks goes to @Selena777 who regularly translates my sentences into Russian. In fact, Arabic-Russian translation is very important as thousands of Russian expatriates work in the Arab world and with the improvement of economic and political relations between Russia and the Arab countries, thousands more expats are expected to visit and work in the Middle East and North Africa. In addition to that, the special interest Arabic receives from many Russians is well known in the Arab world. There already is a well-known news channel called RT Arabic that's very popular in the Arab countries and Arabs generally welcome any person from around the world who's interested in learning Arabic. Therefore, the promotion of Arabic-Russian (even through a pivot language like English) on this website would be a great idea and the contributors who are translating Arabic sentences (or sentences linked to Arabic) into Russian are making a great contribution in that sense. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. شكرا من صميم قلبي.

English word "TV", not limited by any specific user's contributions or lists:

Note: displaying all possible results, not limited by any personal lists or specific user's contribution, gives more opportunites, i.e:
- all variations of English (British, American, Canadian, Australian);
- variety of personal and geographical names, not limited by "wild cards" or any other individual preferences;
- ability to recognize and promote every user's contribution equally.

In the other hand, please keep in mind that some of those sentences most likely have grammar, orthographical and/or stylistic mistakes and typos. If you catch them, please leave a comment. Let's make Tatoeba better!

Re: Let's make Tatoeba better!

I agree.

For the rest: of course, I respect your point of view, but everyone has their purposes, motivations, and methods of working. As far as I'm concerned, I have a relatively small number of sentences and I'm trying to translate them from English into Arabic or from Arabic into English, and I'd also like to give them some more visibility on this website. I do that for various reasons (professional, educational, practical, etc.) As long as there's nothing that explicitly prohibits doing that to *all Tatoeba members*, then I think it's fine doing that. I invite people (especially friendly people like you, Odexed, Carlosalberto and many others) to translate my sentences and I think there's nothing wrong with that. I've already seen other people doing that. But to cut a long story short, I don't care about what other people do to promote whatever they want to promote and I only ask other people (who seem to be bugged by me, my presence, my work, perhaps the presence of the Arabic language itself, my personal presence itself, etc.) to leave me alone as long as what I do isn't wrong and doesn't harm the Tatoeba project. I hope that's clear and peace to all of you (and for that category of people: please leave me alone).

NOTE: message edited.

Your tone seems agressive, or I'm wrong? I didn't intend to offend you or any other member.
Maybe, it wasn't a good idea to use the same English word which your had chosen to promote (I wasn't the only one member who did that, though). Anyway, to avoid any misunderstanding, I'll provide words of my own choice next time.

I'm not being aggressive towards you and I can make the difference between friend and foe, after all. I only strive to remind readers in every message about some practices that don't sit well with the spirit of cooperation that should prevail on Tatoeba. You absolutely don't have anything to do with those bad practices and I know that you don't support them yourself.

I would also appreciate it if contributors translated these example sentences into their own languages. Tatoeba is here to promote language diversity in a spirit of friendship, I think, so go ahead and have fun.
