Have you tried including orphan sentences?

Well, Samogitian has its own ISO 639-3 code, so it formally meets Tatoeba’s criteria, unlike Spanish dialects.

Edit: Oh, to see the sentences you have already marked go to https://tatoeba.org/eng/collections/of/umano

I also think that we should use bigger fonts.

Looks great, thank you so much! It will be a major improvement if this feature is introduced.

Cela arrive quand vous pressez le bouton « traduire » deux fois par mégarde. Une fois, j’en ai eu quatre, ces doubles. :/

"Said to male" and "said to female".

FAQ is now at the bottom of the page.

I admit that I can’t point out any specific difficulties with the menu, for now at least.

I also confirm what CK says above about his site’s menu. It looks fine on my mobile phone, while Tatoeba’s new menu is almost as low as the current one, contrary to how it looks on a laptop.

It’s not that important, but I feel like the black menu header is too wide, and all the headers together eat up too much space on the screen. Was it made wider to fit the Tatoeba logo?

** Notify users when a rated sentence is changed **

I have no idea if that’s feasible at all, but I think it would be nice if a user who had rated a sentence (OK/unsure/not OK) received a notification after the sentence is changed. Now we have a situation when bad sentences are eventually corrected, but old ratings remain (#443293, #412659).

I always use ё, too. :)

In fact, I don’t think that Cyrillic and Latin can be transcribed character by character. Think of such pairs as елан ~ yılan (not ‘yelan’), яшь ~ yäş (not ‘yaş’). Besides, there would be a problem with k ~ q, g ~ ğ which are not distinguished in Cyrillic.

Must be because CK added audios to them.

И, похоже, не только с японским, и именно при исключении прямой связи.

Да-да, у меня так же. Но вот ищу вместо японского английский, и всё работает.

UPD. Попробовал ещё несколько языков (кантонский, севернокитайский, нидерландский, французский) — тоже работает. Может быть такое, что только с японским поиск хромает?

Ой нет, связь прямую не ставил, простите :) Тогда да, та же картина.

Wezel Wezel December 16, 2015 December 16, 2015 at 6:47:37 PM UTC link Permalink

Я у себя вроде бы не замечал такого, всё работает.
