Nancy, há um tipo de "ser" que trabalha sem coração (ainda): robôs. Creio que nem todos aqui sejam robôs, certo? (Acho...)

2ª: Coloquei a tag Ok pq eu te conheCIA. Sabia que suas frases em espanhol estavam boas. Ou seja, confiaVA em você.

Isso não importa mais. Não sou mais AC e já abandonei o Tatoeba. Fiquem felizes.

Hi! Glad to meet you! Welcome to the project!

"I feel like the user is ready. " is that a kind of " try to avoid personal judgement."? Sorry, I didn't know this. And I am a child? YES, as EVERYBODY. People "increase" their status. They were born babies. They become babies+childs. After they become teenagers+childs+babies. If someone never had been a baby, so there is a big problem.

And c'mom, I PM someone to say that I make some mistakes to try to write in a phillosophic way. So, the sentence http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentences/show/2777155 ISN'T for you. How could you think something like that???

I'd like to let something TOTALLY clear here in this "public" wall: The Tatoeba's main idea is (yes, it becomes a person as well which has a soul - a heart too?) is to try to be " a large database of example sentences translated into several languages." Yes, that's a fantastic idea. I personally don't remember a kind of "dictionary" like that. We always see in everywhere "word translated from A into B, or A into C, etc". And there is a plus: Everyone is helping the Project AND the Tatoeba. There are many websites using officially or not officially the Tatoeba's corpus. How was that build? By members that, despite of their problems (personal/familiar/), want to help to build by translating and commenting. So, everyone (see: everyone) builds this website.

However, it seems that from the last months until today, just ONE person - he mentioned my name but c'mon, I'm a human so I won't decrease my "level" - is deciding the future of this website. How? In his OWN message, he says that he will publish the candidature in the wall if he (yes, he, él, ele, lei, aftos, il, etc) approves. So... what? Is Tatoeba made by everyone or just by one person? Sincerely, I'm not sure...

I know I'm far to know everything, to know, sometimes, the basic. I know that I make several mistakes but I ALSO know that I'm making my best all the time. And, now, I propose this: if someone don't want me here anymore (and lol, I called many people to come here - about 30), just reply this message saying "I don't want you here anymore" and the reason. Well, if I'm here to be more helpful as I can and I'm not being, so, I go out. I'll upset, of course, because I BELIEVE in this project. I don't believe - UNFORTUNATELY - in some people who are here. But, it's a part of the life.

Some people congratulated me for my promotion because I thought in quit my account and go away. But I'm not a hacker which tried to promote myself. I asked another opinions (another opinionS) and now, here I am. or I was.

That's it. So, it's a "bye" or just a "hey, come here".

Great news! :D Thanks, Alan!

Thank you so much, Gulo! May I send the sentences in Italian, for example? My native language is Portuguese.

By the way, I sent the audio files for Ancient Greek to Alex but I haven't no answer yet...

Amigos, como posso ver a lista completa de todos as sentenças com áudio disponíveis no corpus? Eu só consigo ver algumas..

Quando clico em "Browse audio for all languages", aparece " http://www.tatoeba.org/eng/sentences/with_audio" sem nenhuma distinção. E se eu só quisesse, por exemplo, ouvir as sentenças em Grego? E em Árabe?

Muito obrigado! :D

¡Hola, mi amiga! ¿Cómo estás?

You can ...

► Choose sentences from a certain language and start to translate them into another languages (Example > English into Spanish ------ http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence.../eng/none/none ----

► "Adopt" sentences into your native language (in your case, Mexico") and correct them, if needed - http://tatoeba.org/eng/activiti..._sentences/spa

Hope it helps you a little >> http://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/arti...ow/quick-start

If you have any question, let me know"

How can I translate my own favorite sentences on Tatoeba? I just see a big list and not an "option" to translate them...

Hey, my friend! Glad to see you here, my friend! When will you come to Brazil?

Did you know? Rannouch, Vicent and Rania are also here! lol!
Our 'family' is here also hehe

alpha44 alpha44 September 11, 2013 September 11, 2013 at 11:04:54 PM UTC link Permalink

A good way for beginning is choosing a language you can read here - http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence.../eng/none/none (just change the "Sentences in:" botton). Then, start translating by clicking the "A あ" icon.

Example: I'm Brazilian. So my native language is Portuguese. I speak some English, Spanish and another languages. Then I go there, choose "Sentences in English" and translate them into Portuguese.

Please, do not forget the ponctuation (final dot (.), exclamation mark (!), etc).

Example: My name is Ricardo!

wrong translation: je m'appelle ricardo ( two mistakes: I should capitalize the "j" and I should add the "!".

Correct translation: Je m'appelle Ricardo!
