I have just received Piet Cleij's permission to use his Dutch-Interlingua Dictionary (DIN) at Tatoeba:
"Car Senior Alberto,
"Si mi DIN pote esser utile pro vostre projecto, usa lo.
"Salutationes
"Piet Cleij"
(If my DIN can be useful for your project, use it.)
I am really very happy, and I don't know how to thank the eminent lexicographer Piet Cleij.

Could I ask, what language is it?

It is my pleasure to answer to your question.
This language is "interlingua". Please visit the site:
Thanks for your answer.
That's funny, I can understand it rather well, despite the fact I've never heard about this language before.
I guess, it has the same purpose as Esperanto, right?
That's right, the purpose is the same, but Interlingua has what we call an international vocabulary — its words can be easily understood all over the "latin world". That is why you could understand it rather well at first sight, so to speak. Here at Tatoeba you can find, today, more than 10.500 sentences in Interlingua, with a few or many translations to other languages, including Russian. ☺
That's rather a large amount. :)
So, it's the kind of language for Romance-speaking people? By the way, I heard about the similar language for Slavic-speaking people.
Yes, for Romance-speaking or English-speaking people (like yourself). ☺
As to Slavic-speaking people, please see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slovio
I read about Slovio, it seems, it requires some training to understand it well.
I don't think, Interlingva is good to understand for English-speaking people, cause English is not very close to any Romance language. Though, I can understand Interlingva a bit, cause I know some Italian. :)
I meant to say English may help you understand Interlingua because, at least here, there are many sentences in Interlingua translated into English. ☺
Oh, I see :)
Thanks for your time.
It was nice to talk to you.
